On Friday, November 4, 2022 (9 AM-12 PM) the UCLA Gambling Studies Program hosted a forum focused on the public health impact of expansion of sports betting on California. The deep conversation focused on:
- Reviewing the history and current culture of sports betting in California
- Updates from other states on the experience of introducing regulated sports betting
- Identifying critical public health issues that will impact California with the expansion of sports betting
