What Is Self-Exclusion?

The California Department of Justice, Bureau of Gambling Control administers a statewide self-exclusion program for all cardrooms. Self- exclusion is an irrevocable voluntary agreement to be excluded from all cardrooms, all cardroom games or gaming activities, privileges and also to be prohibited from collecting any winnings or recovering any losses for a specified term. The terms are 1 year, 5 years, and lifetime exclusion.

How To Participate

The patron is not required to visit the cardroom to participate in the self-exclusion program, just follow these easy steps:

  1. Complete this form
  2. Sign and notarize the form
  3. Attach a current photo
  4. Mail to:
